Zzyzx Design

Zzyx Design are a drafting, industrial, residential and commercial design business. They approached me to create a site that will display their work for potential clients and to gain an online presence. The site is uses a flash gallery to showcase their latest 3D renders and drafting projects.

This site project was managed, planned and created closely with the client and displays their best work within a clear and intuitive design framework.

Diverze Photography

Diverze Photography are a photographic studio based in Sydney. Their existing site needed an complete overhaul including a new design, a content management system and a photo gallery. Kora (a Sunshine Coast based web design company) required my skills to create a fresh design for their client and to manage the creative process.

The Diverze Photography web site enabled me to utilise great communication skills, project management and to create an elegant, intuitive website for both the user and client.

Resort Plus

Resortplus is a new arm of a leading Australian holiday booking company. I was contracted to work closely with this client to create branding and web page design for their exciting new rewards card product. The site utilises stunning photography a fun logo, and a fresh holiday theme to establish this new area of their business.

This project enabled me to use extensive research skills, both print and web design skills, time management, and client communication abilities. As this was a team project I also used adequate procedures to enable a clean transition for interchanging the project from myself to other team members.

Regional Futures Network

I was approached by Regional Futures Network (RFN) to produce branding for their non-profit organisation. RFN is a network of sustainable living organisations on the Sunshine Coast. The aim of the brief was to design branding which would attract new members and connect existing sustainable living groups in the area.

The logo is associated with the term "touching the earth lightly", which RFN adopted as their tagline. And is also related to the "Glossies Award", which recognises excellence in sustainable building design and land use. The award is a sculpture of a iconic Glossy Black Cockatoo feather. And hence the logo is a visual representation of the feather "touching the earth lightly".

Kora Web Solutions needed a redesign of their existing site and a new corporate identity. Working with the management team of Kora I created a fresh new look for this web design company. With lighter blues, and glossy rounded edges I was able to give the company a completely new design, updated with the latest clients and has a modern feel.

The project was created from the ground up giving me the opportunity to use both written skills and graphic design skills. With detailed planning and project management I was able to create a branding package that had measurable success by creating new clients

Body Overhaul

The Body Overhaul site brief was to create a quick and accessible website that this small business could update and present to new and existing clients. It has strong bold colours and is quick and easy to gain information. The client can update his site easily without the design losing structure and is easy for a broad demographic of customers to use.

With only an existing logo to design from this site was completed within a super fast turnaround giving the client a website that was up and running in a very short period. The site is deliberately not overly complicated so it is both easy to use in terms of gaining information and also easy to keep maintained.

Viva 4 Enterprises are a industrial development firm based in Brisbane. Their existing site needed a new interactive element that incorporated flash animation, interactivity, and a content management system. My involvement in this project was to create the flash animations to advertise their product and further establish the brand. And also HTML, CSS and integration of the interactive flash maps which communicate with a PHP database and content management system.

This website is now a valuable tool for Viva 4 Enterprises which allows them to update, review and present to prospective buyers their latest industrial projects.

C-Change Potential

This client needed a quick and easy site that she could show potential clients. She was after a design that complemented her logo and was easy for her to use and update. The design incorporates some stylish photography and strong clean lines to reinforce her corporate identity. And a simple but effective flash intro movie to freshen up the experience for potential clients.

In this project I utilised strong project management skills, client communication, web design and flash movie creation. Overall this project had a quick turnaround and an extremely happy client. Showing that excellent time and project management skills always help to create a great project for both myself and the client.

Thermage Australia

The Australian branch of Thermage International needed a website to represent their company and its revolutionary procedures. The site is used to advertise and educate potential clients of Thermage, and incorporates interactivity and a video library to present its information.

The design reflects strong corporate branding and reiterates the procedures they perform. The design brief was to produce a site that utilised multimedia components and presented it in such a way that was professional, easy to use and produced a feeling of smoothness. Which is shown via the curved lines and rounded corners of the site.

Sixty Second Parent

60 Second Parent

Sixty Second Parent is a website devoted to providing quick and easy access to parenting information and products. This design was part of a website proposal for the creation of the parenting website. It incorporates bold, joyful colours, and a fun and easy to use navigation system.

The logo creation represents a combination of a baby bottle and a hourglass timer, which creates an instantly recognisable image to reinforce the theme of this company. A hand written styled typeface was used to give a human feel to the project and professional photography was integrated to help create strong and reliable branding.
